🗓️ 7th of March 2026
First TEDx Women conference in Georgia
TEDxVeraTbilisi Women is an independently organized TEDx event dedicated to women’s voices, ideas, and lived experience.
Every woman carries a story
A story of doubt and courage, of silence and voice, of losing and finding herself again. And when a woman steps on the TEDxVeraWomen stage, she does it not only for herself - but for another woman who’s still afraid to speak.

She’s here because it’s time.
Time to speak.
Time to show up.
Time to be seen.
Voice
as a right, and as a brave act
Visibility
as a journey that starts from within
Sisterhood
as a chain reaction
TEDxVera Women

We talk about voice - as a right, and as a brave act.

We talk about visibility - as a journey that starts from within.

We talk about sisterhood - as a chain reaction: when one woman speaks her truth, another feels the strength to speak too.

This is not a manifesto of perfection or exceptionality. It’s a space where being yourself is enough. Where honesty matters more than volume. Where lived experience is more powerful than rules.

She is here - because we are here. And every one of us has something worth saying.

Our speakers
The conference will be held entirely in English.
  • Natela Potskhveria
Journalist, cultural strategist, founder of the platform Nateli Tbilisi and creative mind behind Georgian Infusion
"FREEDOM AND HAPPINESS BEGIN WITH RESPONSIBILITY"
But what does that really mean — when you’re building projects that carry cultural weight? When ambition pulls you forward, crises test your resilience, and expectations grow louder? How do you stay conscious, protect your inner resources, and still remain fully present — as a leader, a creator, a decision-maker?
In this talk, Natela reveals the invisible architecture behind projects of national significance. She speaks about navigating uncertainty without losing direction, balancing drive with joy, and turning personal responsibility into a powerful strategic advantage.
This is not a story about success. It’s a story about stamina, clarity — and the discipline of freedom.
  • Dariko Kholodilina
    Wine Educator & Tour Planner
    Georgian Wine Expert, WSET 3
"SKIN CONTACT: WHAT WINE TEACHES US ABOUT PARENTING"
Imagine that raising children can be understood in the same way as making a good wine: patience, attention to detail, the ability to listen, and the courage to let natural development unfold. In this inspiring talk, the speaker shows how principles of winemaking — from skin contact to aging — become a powerful metaphor for deep, sensitive, and conscious parenting. If you’re ready to see parenthood from a new perspective, not as a task to manage but as an art to be practiced, this talk is for you.
  • Veronika Kikabidze
Concept maker: turn places into empowering spaces, Mother of Wine Factory No. 1, Relaunched ex-CEO Bazari Orbeliani
"STAGE ZERO IN LIFE AND BUSINESS"
In this talk, the speaker invites the audience to look at life decisions through the lens of Stage Zero — the zero stage that exists not only in projects, but in human destiny as well. It is a conversation about that moment before — when you can still ask yourself honestly:
Is this my path? Am I acting from my values — or from fear, pressure, and expectations? Will I be able to respect myself if I continue?
Through real stories from professional practice and personal life, the speaker shows that the most painful crises happen not because we are weak or didn’t try hard enough, but because at some point, we failed to listen to ourselves at the very beginning.

  • Marta Ardashelia
A journalist from Georgia, Founder of the independent Russian-language media resource "Sova"

    "WHAT REALLY MAKES US STRONGER"
On this talk Marta speaks about how to stay calm in a world full of news and noise — when information feels overwhelming and confusing. She shares simple tools for dealing with information overload, staying focused, and thinking clearly. Marta believes that knowledge should give us confidence about the future — not fear.
Marta is originally from Abkhazia, and her life includes many challenges. In this talk, she explains how difficult experiences can become a source of strength — and how we can turn vulnerability into power.
This is a personal story about resilience, clarity, and staying strong in changing times.
  • Nino Dartsmelia
    Teacher of the Georgian language
    Rector

    "LESSONS IN CONNECTION"
In this talk, explore how learning a language can go beyond grammar and vocabulary. In Nino’s classes, students from diverse backgrounds—Ukrainians, Russians, Armenians, Azerbaijanis, even Abkhazians and Georgians—learn side by side, finding calm, connection, and subtle guidance. These lessons show how teaching can become a quiet space for
    understanding, resilience, and human connection.
